You think Purdue or Penn State would have kept up their end of the bargain if one of these you men got hurt ? Do you think they would have kept up their end up the bargain if these young men had a mediocre season and someone better approached them and said that they wanted to attend that school ? I have played college sports and know these schools have screwed up many athletic careers of young men and women based on broken promises but it is all part of the business, so if a kid decides at that last minute he or she does not want to attend your program " GET OVER IT ". Hell there are probably a few players on each roster of Purdue and Penn State that were promised they be able to start, and they would be able to play the position they wanted but they are stuck on the bench. You seen how UC did Britt they wanted him and then all of a sudden there was a lack of interest after they had signed him with a letter of intent, but hey thats all part of the business. In closing Trotwood does not deserve that and you are pretty silly if you feel the school deserves the national black eye it received.
